01Privacy Policy
Elevator Placards ("we") operates elevatorplacards.com from Pennsylvania, USA. This policy describes what information we collect through this website and how it is used.
What we collect
The only personal information we collect is what you submit through the request-for-quotation form or send us by email: your name, company, email address, and the details of your signage request (job or building reference, dimensions, wording, notes, and any photos you email us).
How it is used
Submitted information is used solely to respond to your request — preparing quotes, proofs, and invoices, and corresponding with you about your order. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with anyone for marketing purposes, and we do not send marketing email.
Who processes it
- Web3Forms delivers form submissions to our email inbox.
- Hostinger hosts this website and our email.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces on this site; when the page loads, your browser requests font files from Google's servers, which see your IP address.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
Retention
Quote and order correspondence is retained as ordinary business records. To ask what information we hold about you, or to request its deletion, email info@elevatorplacards.com.
Children
This site is a business-to-business service and is not directed at children under 13; we do not knowingly collect information from them.
02Terms of Use
Quotes and orders
Content on this site is for general information. Submitting the request form is not an order and creates no obligation on either side; pricing is set by the written quote we email you. Nothing is manufactured until you approve a dimensioned proof in writing.
Proof approval
The approved proof is the final specification for your order. By approving a proof, you confirm the wording, spelling, dimensions, colors, layout, and mounting method shown. Plates are cut to the approved proof; changes after approval may require a new plate at additional cost.
Code compliance
Signage requirements vary by jurisdiction, code edition, and the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ). Determining the wording, dimensions, and placement your jurisdiction requires is the customer's responsibility. We manufacture to your approved specification; we do not warrant that any sign will be accepted by a particular inspector or AHJ.
Liability
Our total liability for any order is limited to the price paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including inspection delays or failed inspections.
Site content
The content of this site, including photographs and drawings, belongs to Elevator Placards and may not be reused without permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, USA.
03Accessibility Statement
We aim to keep this site usable by everyone, and build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA: semantic headings, labeled form fields, text alternatives for images, sufficient color contrast, visible keyboard focus, and full keyboard operability.
We also manufacture ADA tactile signage, so this matters to us beyond the website. If any part of this site is difficult for you to use, email info@elevatorplacards.com and we will address it — and we will take your request by email or any format that works for you.
